Dr. Vizzi completed advanced fellowship training at Orthopedic Research of Virginia, a program focused on joint reconstruction and sports medicine. His practice focuses on conditions of the shoulder, offering a full spectrum of care, from precise diagnosis and non-surgical treatment to advanced arthroscopic procedures and shoulder replacement when appropriate.

With experience as a team physician for professional and collegiate programs, and currently serving as a team physician for the Toronto Blue Jays, Dr. Vizzi understands both the physical demands placed on the shoulder and the personal goals that drive recovery. He prioritizes conservative treatment when possible before considering surgery. When surgery is necessary, Dr. Vizzi works closely with each patient to make a shared decision based on their goals, lifestyle, and expectations for recovery.

He may be a little quiet, but he must save all his energy and skills for the operating room. I’m 100% on a full tear rotator cuff surgery after 6 months and I don’t know anyone that can say that. I came in to see Dr. Vizzi and he gave me an injection in my shoulder and I went to physical therapy at his office four times. About one week after the injection, I felt completely better and back to lifting weights/playing volleyball. The office is very clean and efficient. Dr. Vizzi took the time to explain my condition and really cares about his outcomes. Highly recommend this doctor and his office. 10/10

The staff at the office were timely in getting me in and an MRI was scheduled on site and I ended up getting rotator cuff surgery for a full tear. My career is very physically demanding I am very happy with my results and I am back to work 100% better after rotator cuff repair. Dr. Scott Vizzi, doctor of Orthopedic medicine at Alexander Orthopedics did Orthoscopic surgery on my right knee; he did some cortisone injections today in both my hips. When he did my Knee surgery he advised me to go with a full knee replacement but as stubborn as I am, I opted for the easier option. He will be doing a full knee replacement on my left knee when I decide to have that and another surgery on my right knee. He is an excellent surgeon and we trust him completely with any surgery he does. We think very highly of him and when I have my knees replacement done on both sides, I sure hope will do those too. My experience with Dr. Vizzi has been wonderful and we highly recommend him as well as the group Alexander Orthopedics. I have been to several of the doctors in the group and all have been helpful. The office staff and surgery staff have also been excellent. We have never had a bad experience with Dr. Vizzi and plan to use him when possible!!!⭐️
